BMW India is betting big on SUVs for scaling up its future growth prospects. The company is expecting SUVs to account for 1 out of every 2 cars that are sold in the Indian market. 3 locally assembled models are sold by the company in the country at present, namely the BMW X3, X1 and X5. BMW also offers the X6, X4 and X7 models. The X7 and X4 models will be assembled locally sometime soon and the X6 will arrive as a CBU (Completely Built Unit).
